I do not yet have this item installed. Let me tell you why: It requires two (2) of the non-standard light bulbs that have the small bases, like candelabra lights, up to 60W. So, although I have standard bulbs, yellow porch bulbs, energy-saving CFL bulbs, globe bulbs and low wattage decorative bulbs (but with standard sized bases) I don’t have light bulbs that fit. I went to the dollar store and got two cheap bulbs of the correct size. (Sadly realizing that I will probably never be able to use long-lasting CFL bulbs, or yellow porch bulbs, with this cheap product.
Now comes the hard part: You must unscrew the top of the unit (two phillips head screws), remove the top, and stick your hand down in the top of the unit (I am female and it was a tight fit- but possible) while holding the light bulb, and try to screw it in. Twice. My problem came when I got the bulb threaded in crooked, and tried to unscrew it, the base broke off inside the socket, and now it will have to be removed with pliers, and I have to go back and buy more light bulbs.
Also be aware that I did all of this with the unit sitting in my lap. I don’t know how it is going to be to change the light bulbs when the unit is six feet off the ground, mounted in brick. I suspect it will be very hard. I know that I will not screw the top of the unit back together, because I can’t imaging trying to unscrew it from the mounted position.
It is pretty, but the inconvenience of changing bulbs, inconvenient bulbs size were irritating enough that I would NOT order this again. If it weren’t too much trouble and expense versus the cost of the item, I would return it.
***Edited: I returned this item because it would not work when installed. Cheaply and poorly made.***

I bought two of these lights. They look just like the picture and I’m pleased with the look, especially for the $6.xx price I paid. It isn’t the most user friendly for changing the bulbs I’ll agree. What I did to make it easier, is took off the bottom screws (instead of the top) and the front glass will slide down and out of the frame and you have easy access to the bulbs for changing. I’d buy these again for this price, but not much more.

This light is really nice looking but very difficult to get the bulbs into. There is no easy way to put the bulbs into the fixture without unscrewing it and putting them in – which seems like a huge waste of time to me. Otherwise, it’s a nice light and looks very nice on my house.

I needed a light that was not to thick I had a clearance problem with our new screen door and old porch light.
Anyway I looked around and these slim lights are hard to find and when you do find one like this they are $150 so I jumped on this for the price.
I received my new light but when I took it out of the shipping box the box which had the light in it had a big hole punched in it so I right away knew what was next I took the light out of the box and the whole front was pushed in and the metal frame was broke so it got boxed and shipped like that because the outter shipping box was fine no damage so I sent it back for a refund.
About the light itself from what I seen it’s a pretty nice light the leading on the glass was poorly done but other than that you would not guess $20 the bulbs would be kinda hard to change as other people mentioned but I was ok with that I wish this would have turned out different but hey I tried

I bought a ton of 3W candelabra based flourescent bulbs on eBay. Although there are streetlights nearby, my front porch is still a little dark and this makes a reasonable night light without being gaudy or obtrusive. As for the bulb installation, I’m used to tight spaces in computers, plumbing & electrial.
